Strategic Alliance For MEMS

Semiconductor Complex Limited has diversified into MEMS and has augmented its facility for Wafer Fabrication, Packaging and Testing for taking up manufacturing of MEMS based devices - a general list of augmentation includes Front-to-Back Aligner, Pre-Bond Aligner, Anodic Bonder, Sputtering/e-beam Metallization system, Wet  Benches, Packaging equipment such as Metal Can Resistance Welder, Vacuum Packager, etc. and a suitable Test equipment.

 We are exploring the possibility of a business relationship with established MEMS Foundries who can act as our strategic ally to provide Technology,  Consultancy as well as certain market access through a 'buy-back' arrangement.

Purchase/Licensing of VLSI Products

SCL is interested to purchase/seek license of VLSI product design along with relevant process details, so as to manufacture them in its Wafer Fabrication Facility. This purchase should preferably be linked with the buy back arrangement at mutually agreed terms.

Design Sub-contract

SCL is looking for design houses to sub-contract design of some of its planned products in the analog and mixed signal area.

Wafer Fabrication

SCL is looking for business opportunity in wafer fabrication (foundry operation) for certain niche applications involving 1.2/0.8 micron CMOS technology. Under this proposal SCL envisages to offer its wafer fabrication capacity for fabrication of the partner's products'.

VLSI Design

SCL is intrested in setting up of a VLSI Design company in the nature of a fabless semiconductor house as a subsidary of SCL with majority equity participation by overseas company. This company will essentially be product company catering largely to the overseas market.

VLSI Wafer Fab Facility
